We're Glad You're Here!
What happens when I attend the first time?
When you arrive at church, parking is easily accessible next to the church or across the street. (Please use caution when crossing the road). Sunday school is held in the building across the street from the church with classrooms upstairs and the fellowship hall and restrooms downstairs.
When you arrive at the church a greeter will be available in the front foyer to offer you a bulletin and answer any questions you might have. Our worship service beings at 11 am with announcements, so if you’re running late, don’t worry, you’ll have time to get seated.
Our bulletin is designed to allow you to easily follow the order of worship. A typical service lasts about 70 minutes with traditional music. Our worship service is designed to be a conversation between the congregation and God. The call to worship, singing, scripture reading, prayer, and expositional preaching, are all meant to draw you into a personal relationship where we hear God speak to us through His Word and then respond. We serve Communion quarterly to professing believers. Plan to hang around after the service to fellowship and make new friends.
What should I wear?
You’re invited to come as you are — whether you feel most comfortable wearing a suit or jeans. You will find many of us in what used to be called our “Sunday best”, while others come in more casual clothing. We’re more concerned with having you there than what you wear.
What if I have questions?
There is always a greeter in the foyer before worship begins. They will be more than happy to answer any questions. If you need answers outside of worship, grab the pastor, call the church at 304-856-3658, or email the church at timberridgechristianchurch@gmail.com.
